Hey guys
I am not going to keep the banners removal for my self anymore, but I am going to release it soon, but I was thinking, would it be a good idea if I make an option to replace the banner with your own? sure it will only affect your pc and not the others, but I like the idea, but I am not sure what you think about it?
September 30, 2005 at 5:15 pm #184028AdminAdministratorthat sounds cool like a custumize banner, but a better idea if u use like or site banner promoter, like u put ads from your site and other paltalk sites lol just an idea 🙂

September 30, 2005 at 6:34 pm #184026DodyMemberoh that’s sounds cool, I can make it with 3 options:
1. remove banners
2. add our banners
3. add your costum bannersI will give it a try, and if so then I will put your ads too
October 1, 2005 at 4:33 pm #184025DodyMemberoki doki, I tested it, and it works so good, I only need your input, do you want the ads. to be flash or a normal IE page?
I prefer it to be flash so I know what class I have to call, but if it is a html page, then it will be confused, is it IE or firefox I should call… (I know if statement can be helpful here, but…)
so what do you think?
October 2, 2005 at 3:54 pm #184024AdminAdministratorUmm but do we have to put the banner or will they come already build in 🙂
Man I dont know flash yet I am trying to learn that too lol.
but if flash is better hell yea 🙂
October 2, 2005 at 7:34 pm #184023DodyMemberthey will come already build in 😉
don’t worry about flash, I am flash expert lol
pm with your ads. links and I will do the rest…
take a look for the last screen shots
it is for rooms/pms/paltalk main list banners 😀
October 2, 2005 at 8:52 pm #184022AdminAdministrator🙄 this is nothing hard to do at all i can use my own ads if i wanted to lol… basicly the way i would do it would be to set up a *html file on my server then i would set a java script to change the banner every few mins to a new one use the file thats in the… C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc called ‘host’ and block paltalks ads and replace it with mine. maybe your way migght be better but i dont like using someone elses ideal after its been made if i do i try to do it a lil diffrent 🙂
October 2, 2005 at 8:59 pm #184021DodyMemberyou are right, it is not something hard to do. and I am doing in a different way than they way you want to do it. and if you mean I am taking others idea, then no my friend, I think I am the only one who is doing it in this way, as I have never seen other who did it before… anyway thanks for your input 😉
