Are you a n00b or something?July 21, 2008 at 5:26 pm #188043DavidRMemberhey loco …
you mentioned that you were working on greeter for 9.2 to make it work for 9.4 using Autos update. could you please post it in here? i did a search for 9.4 greeter and couldn’t find anything.thanks
July 21, 2008 at 10:11 pm #188042StringMemberI dont know how your question relates to programming, but look here.
July 22, 2008 at 9:33 am #188041DavidRMemberyou’re so right string, my question had absolutly nothing to do with programming. it was more related to astronomy and the position of stars. specially when it comes to updating the greeter code which is written in visual basic (which again has nothing to do with programming at all) to make it work for another version, it’s definitly not about programming.
in your opinion, what’s my question related to?July 22, 2008 at 10:39 am #188040ChikeMember@DavidR wrote:

I agree with that.

I see now that what you were asking was for loco to write and post the source for you.
Why not do it yourself? The basis source for a greeter is at the top of this thread, and the code for making it work for any version is posted in this forum several times. Put the two together, you can create a greeter, and maybe learn something along the way.@DavidR wrote:

Thats not a star, thats Uranus.
