Is there any method that allow DB to register a nickname contains ” @,(),!,” ??? if not why.?

Speed (m2) < Registered in paltalk DB . How did paltalk allowed this nickname get into the database ????????

paltalk does not allow letters contain (a-z) , digit (0-9), is there any way to register letters contain (a-z) ???????????
