July 22, 2015 at 5:06 pm #174642o-l-dMemberPaltalkBot installs but fails to open. Will run appcrashview  later for details. Thanks for the updates, Admin.
April 16, 2014 at 3:34 am #181110o-l-dMemberIt works fine in virtual box as long as it is a “color” nickname. The black/basic nicknames will log in but will close in a minute or two  and you get the Paltalk message box about “basic accounts aren’t supported in virtual machines”.
I read online that Microsoft is in talks now with European businesses to extend security updates thru 2016. I guess we will have to wait and see about personal users.
April 8, 2014 at 6:46 pm #181121o-l-dMemberThe best way I’ve found to use PalTalk Messenger in linux distros is to use VirtualBox. Create a Windows virtual machine and make sure dotNet framework is up to date. PalTalk blocks free/black accounts on virtual machines but works well with paid/gifted accounts.
I have tried all the different ways in Wine but  PalTalk continues to crash. I would be able to login, get room list,  even join rooms with voice but the app would crash in about 2-3 minutes.
October 29, 2013 at 4:29 am #174824o-l-dMemberThese all work well with the new 11.2 version as well 😀
