April 8, 2008 at 9:46 am #188049RandomMemberHi …
Does this code work on pal 9.2? or maybe 9.4?March 22, 2008 at 1:07 pm #187677RandomMemberok, chike. this is what i’m seeing from all these … in form1, (function username) text1 is where i get the user that enters the room. then in timer1 (stats section) it passes it to listbox with the time of entry. i put your code in a module. if i know where to use the Function get_next_line, i know with a little knowladge that i have and a few mistakes that i’m sure i’m gonna make, i’ll get it in the right place. if there’s any starting point you can think of, that i can call this function, it’ll be great because i’m thinking once this code is used, username function and stats portion in timer1 might become useless.
here is the source itself 😀thanks
March 22, 2008 at 2:04 am #187679RandomMemberthanks for the code chike … since i’m a newbie in vb, this is the question … this code goes to Form1 and take place of (username) and stats portion of the Timer1, am i right? i got a feeling that i’m not, lollol 😀
i guess i’m trying to figure out how to use it 😀March 21, 2008 at 11:58 pm #187681RandomMemberhi people …
i’m using adminbot 9.2 and i checked it out often in busy rooms with over 400-500 users in them. sure you noticed that sometimes few people comes in at the same time one right after another. when that happens, admin bot unique visitors in stats doesn’t get all of them, it might get 1 or 2 but not all if like 8-9 or 10 of them come in at the same time. is there any way to improve that? i tried a couple of ways with timer and could get the right amount when they come in every 1 or 2 seconds, but that’s all. can’t get it to read all 10 (for example)
thanks
February 8, 2008 at 1:22 am #187682RandomMemberhi guys …
i’m sorry if i couldn’t respond to your posts, too much work everyday … not to mention eating, that takes hours too !!! lol
to respond to loco and chike … even if there’s not too many people in the room and text is going slow, it still works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. it’s strange. i’ve tried to separate the functions of the bot to run each of them as a separate project. i thought that would make it easier to see what’s going on. guess what? it got too complicated for me and i got confused at the end, lol.
i can’t figure it out and the bot is too good to let go.thanks guys and sorry about late respond again
January 16, 2008 at 4:21 am #187690RandomMemberhi guys again …
ok … to answer to loco’s question. i use win 2k pro with sp4 and the pal version i used with both versions of the admin bot are … pal 9.1 build 205 for admin bot 9.1 and pal 9.2 build 236 with admin bot 9.2. they both gave me the same result.
for departure … ok, i tried to use all options available in the bot. responder, auto bounce, auto red dot and greeter are the one the working on and off. no error message at all. it’s more like sometimes they just bypass the events. like for example the greeter won’t respond when a person enters the group, or auto bounce or auto reddot won’t respond to the nick that enters the room and is on the auto bounce or auto reddot list. and then again … sometimes they all works perfectly.August 3, 2007 at 11:26 pm #187997RandomMemberpulling hair that is, lollol
August 3, 2007 at 11:25 pm #187998RandomMemberhey loco …
i checked what i had. Admin Bot works and Fast Bouncer too but Fast Bouncer stops after a few bounces. can’t figure out why it stops. still couldn’t get Fast Bouncer XP to work. it must work must … must … must … lollol
July 30, 2007 at 3:33 am #187999RandomMemberok loco, i downloaded quite a few of your codes. i tested fast bouncer, not working … either because of win2000pro or pal 9.1.
i’m gonna test the rest, i didn’t get a chance to do it when i downloaded them because i was trying to get the fast bouncer xp to work.
i was testing Admin Botvb9v10. An/Res part works. Greeter gave me an error for Mode but only once. haven’t test the rest yet. so i’m gonna check them and see. remember, i have 2000pro, they might all work perfect on xp.i’ll let you know about them one by one.
bear with me … lolJuly 29, 2007 at 10:45 am #188001RandomMemberOk …. I just tried the Native Code insted of P-Code. It’s the same, reads 2-3 names and stops. poor poor me, lol
July 29, 2007 at 10:14 am #188002RandomMemberhey loco ….
thanks, i’m gonna try compiling it using native code now as you said. pray for me, lol
😀July 27, 2007 at 5:49 am #188004RandomMemberthanks a lot loco, for now i’m using 9.1 … not sure how much longer they’ll let me use 9.1 before they ask me to upgrade.
thanks again ….
July 27, 2007 at 2:52 am #188006RandomMemberHey Loco …
It’s ok about the late respond, you got a lot to deal with 🙂
about the Fast Bouncer … honestly not yet. i tried what ever i could think of but it just doesn’t happen. it doesn’t give me any error message. when i start it, it just register 1 username and that’s it, it stops and don’t register anymore user. let me mention again loco … that this only happens if i compile the code and use it as exe. if i run the code through visual basic then it works perfectly. i sent the compiled exe to my friend to see how it’ll work for him, he has XP and exe works perfect for him. tried media center … also didn’t work. seems i can’t find out where the secret is and tell you the truth … this particular code is one of those codes that i just can’t let go of it, lollol ….thanks for your response again loco 🙂
July 15, 2007 at 4:06 pm #188008RandomMemberok … this is the file i downloaded. i looked through it too but i think with my knowladge it’s gonna be a little challenge to find what gives me the trouble. about w2k … i think it has vb runtimes installed but i’ll take your advice and reinstall them. on the other hand, since i have visual studio 6 installed on my w2k, shouldn’t my os already contain runtimes? but here’s the code. take a look if you got some spare time. you hear the sound of gears in my brain? lollol
thanks so much …. 😀 -
