This is my newest paltalk integration. I know that a few others have already done it, but here is my twist.AutoAway.PNG[/attachment:z0o2dyh9]

I haven’t tried this program, but I have once posted code that shows how to find the commands in paltalk menus, you may use this to avoid opening the window for away messages that are already in it, and send them directly to pal main window.
March 9, 2008 at 4:05 pm #176285PreciouS HearTMemberThanks my friend – autopilot
yes i know – if i set there 1 minute or more thn its good… but bro – we are using this program to change our status after every 10 or 15 seconds… otherwise we can change this normally 🙂@Chike wrote:

March 13, 2008 at 4:27 pm #176282autopilotMemberAs it is in the curret form, my away message changer is only usable if you truely are away. Otherwise, it keeps stealing the PC focus. I am working on changing to use the menu commands directly. This means that you will add all wanted messages through you Paltalk program, and then the changer will just rotate through what is in pal. My testing still shows that a time interval less then 30 seconds results in pal dropping you. Look for an update in the next few days.
March 13, 2008 at 8:29 pm #176281autopilotMemberHere is the update to AutoAway. AutoAwaySS2.PNG[/attachment:2lyxixvf]
If the bottom red error icon is displayed, the application can not find the main paltalk window (paltalk is not running). If the top red error icon is displayed, the away messages have not been made active. To make the away messages active, just open the Change my status menu until the error icon is cleared. ChangeStatus.PNG[/attachment:2lyxixvf]
Once you have cleared both error icons, the application will change your away messages automaticly.March 13, 2008 at 8:56 pm #176280ChikeMemberHmmmmmm, what’s the reason for oppening the menu?
Are the away messages not added to it till it first open?March 13, 2008 at 10:01 pm #176279autopilotMember@Chike wrote:

Are the away messages not added to it till it first open?I am not sure about what is going on inside of pal, but it does seem that they don’t add the commands until you open the change my status menu (or at least I couldn’t read them until after the menu was opened).

That’s normal behaviour. Windows has a set of messages it sends to the application before the menu is oppened to allow it to modify the menu.
There are 2 menus that need to be changed when messages are changed or loaded, the one you are using, and the one that pop up inside the window where you can also change the status. Paltalk programmers probably decided to change them only when and if needed.
Now all is left is to figure is what messages they are acting upon.
Hopefully there’s a solution, not trivial (until you understand what’s going on) but i believe it can be solved. I’ll look into it tomorrow.March 14, 2008 at 8:56 am #176277ChikeMemberI have found a solution 😉 but i don’t wanna spoil the fun for you.
March 14, 2008 at 9:06 pm #176276autopilotMemberIt has come to my attention that the dll file included in the above installer is the wrong version. so here is a new installer with the correct dll 😳
