    Which paltalk version you run it?
    I just had pal close again, no error or anything, simply vanished.

    running the beta 550….it does that…in your paltalk folder should be a debug file if you are running beta…..

    Nope no debug file either.
    I suspect it has to do with cams, I saw ither people disapear when cams suddenly close.

    If you can make it so it doesn’t rely on that outside library…or put it in an installer that includes that library…I think you have a winner…version 1.0….Admin I am sure would like to include this in the downloads and/or thePaltalk Programs forum…. and delete all the older versions from this thread…

    As I have said, this is not possible, it’s not up to me.
    The link to the redistributable runtime is sufficiant, we can attach it too.
    This is preffered, as those libraries get updated by Windows Update if needed.

    I updated the installer to include a readme and not overwrite config or c++ files if they exist…otherwise it is the same as the one I previously had there…let me know what you think.

    You can simply run the runtime libs installer, it will know what to do.

    I made some changes to better handle the cam windows not to hijack the window focus, and some inter communication stuff

    Okay, I included this version as well as the 2012 c++ runtime for x86 installer in my installer. That should be it…on testing, it works on my laptop and desktop. Let me know if it works for you.

    Thank you for all your work, the app has been working very well for me in my testing.

    This is the installer that I threw together…It installs the application, a default config as well as runs the 2012 C++ distribution install in quiet mode.

    THIS IS JUST A TEST..ALTHOUGH TESTED ON MY OWN PC, NO WARRANTIES WHAT SO EVER! 🙂

    The installer will be located in the Forum entry

    Let me know how this works and if any changes need to be made…so far in my testing it works fine.

    Just last thing I want to add, activate room window when user is added from the tray menu so the cam loads up immediately

    Problem is, that I can’t attach an EXE file to the forum…so I zip it. Will update the installer with 1.0 version and post it in the Paltalk Programs Forum. Will leave your latest here as well I guess….
