i downloaded the 9.5 version auto greeter and i can’t get it to work can you help??
February 13, 2010 at 10:27 pm #175688StringMemberYou should post your question in the Instant Messenger Programs forum and define what “can’t get it to work” means. It should work fine, if you are using pal 9.8 or below. If you are using pal 9.9, you’ll have to wait till loco gets it updated.
Edit/ updated auto greeter

February 16, 2010 at 3:03 am #175680AdminAdministratorAh damn, lets wait for 9.9 to go final, I pretty sure paltalk would fix that mode thing cause on vista it works.
Another thing ya have windows 7 pro?
February 16, 2010 at 12:44 pm #175679wildman43Memberno i have windows 7 ultimate
February 16, 2010 at 2:37 pm #175678StringMemberMy guess is that its more a permissions issue than a paltalk issue. The program is trying to do something that it no longer has permission to do on windows 7.
To test this, wildman43, right click on the short cut to the program and choose “Run as Administrator”. My guess is that it works now.
Of course this doesn’t fix the problem. The program should be coded in such a way that no administrative privileges are needed. I find that very few end users are logged on as the admin of their machine.
February 16, 2010 at 2:44 pm #175677wildman43Memberwhat program am i right clicking on????
February 16, 2010 at 7:37 pm #175676StringMemberFebruary 17, 2010 at 4:41 pm #175675AdminAdministratorString I tried that too, it work for like 3 greets then it stop.
But my question is, isn’t this paltalk issue cause Paltalk.exe keeps going to XP mode even after I change not to be. Like in Vista it’s not in XP mode by default. I gonna have to contact them peeps to fix the shit or I gonna sue them lol jk -
