Find People in Paltalk 9.7 with their email

    well I wanted to point out this new cool feature, that you can find people nicks via their email, 🙂 they use to have it long time ago then they took it off now they putting it back which is cool, cause now you will find out all the nicks under certain email :mrgreen:
    So go get beta paltalk 9.7

    Have you tried this with any of your own email addresses? When I tried it it always returns “none found”. There might be a way to opt in/out of being found this way maybe.

    LOL neither have I. But it’s irrelevant, the important thing is that there’s a new feature, the idea is that count, the fact it doesn’t work is just a techincality.

    crap, its true I just try it too and no nicks found. One thing long times ago the feature which I spoke of was similar it was call invite friends, and when you send the invite all their nicks were automatically added to your buddy list heheh the way you could spy on ya girl lol 🙂 I hope they leave this new feature and fix it cause is cool :swift:

    hi u guys i just tried it and it worked but because this feature is new it will not show any old nicks unless the nicknmaes are created after 20-april-09

    i just created a few new nicknames and it worked fine.

    The reason why you can’t find people through the e-mail search is because users have to enable the option to be found by e-mail address.

    Go to setup prefrences > privacy > Who can find me?

    There are 2 options there. If you choose “Let my pals find me by email and nickname” then people can find you by email. Try it yourself, it will work.

    You are right Tony. I figured there had to be a way to opt in/out of this. Otherwise that would be a blatant privacy issue.

    Daamn the suck asz people got their damn privacy info lock. Man back in the days you could talk to girls private pms cause most of them didnt have the stupid private shit, then paltalk :pb: put all this private settings so it sucks ah anyways this another wasted idea by paltalk because of this damn privacy settings :swift:
