August 23, 2007 at 12:54 am #176792M-A-D-COBRA-427Memberbot works fine only for 3 important things missing. is the request limits as when people request too many songs. so maybe a maximum of 3 is fine. and when people search up a band or keyword and it gets flooded out so mabye make pages for results and use more! to flip the pages and also a save option for saving the coloured fonts on the now playing song and greeter/ announcer. thats it.
August 24, 2007 at 5:29 am #176791AdminAdministratorAigh here some updates 🙂
Now you can save the color design for the anouncer, greeter, and now playing.
Also noww you can set the limits of how many songs to send on the find song command, you will notice right under the songlist their is a frame that says FM thas were you set it up 🙂
Here an added comand
more!
sone when people use the find! and there is more songs, you can then ask for more! and it will send u the other songs, one thing its only limit to one more! command so lets say u set it up to send 10 songs on the find! command then the bot will send 10 songs, then when the command more! is use it will send another 10 thas it 😉
Here it is please report any bugs, paltalk close on me before I did much testign lolAugust 25, 2007 at 12:37 am #176790M-A-D-COBRA-427Memberawsome job loco. works good. just need now its the request limits. sometimes one person will request too much n gets a little annoying lol
August 25, 2007 at 3:06 pm #176789AdminAdministratorM-A-D-COBRA-427, I was looking into that 🙂 that should be next 😉
August 27, 2007 at 9:04 pm #176788The_Nekkid_DJMemberWe tried the bot today, the find feature worked well….if you could enable whispering to the bot (with the option to allow whisper, room text, or both) with whisper return (for using find! etc)…but req! should still be a room thing. (or an option as above)
Also…..I used aplay! to start the juke, and the song just played a second then repeated….it displayed the song name in the room as well, then become unresponsive. I had to dot the bot (I was remote) then get into the box and stop it. I reverted back to the old bot for the time being.

August 29, 2007 at 1:18 am #176787AdminAdministratorumm you mean to whisper back the found songs, that sounds cool I see if i can do that, it prop easy 🙂
the aplay! do you have the error on the old bot before the A1 version or just the last a! v.2 ❓
August 29, 2007 at 2:08 pm #176786The_Nekkid_DJMemberI did not try A1 since it really had no updates…..I went straight to A2.
Also, for the collective mind here, is it at ALL possible to have the bot check for servers going down, or the room closing, and to attempt a re-login with supplied credentials to get back into the room as ADMIN and set start again?
Just a pain with Paltalk going down many times to come in in the morning and have to relaunch Paltalk and re-start the bot.
Thank you.
As far as whispers go…the way the new Filebot works is great.
