Paltalk Beta 9 Change Logs 12-03-06

This just change logs on paltalk builds 🙂 i dont know why i put it here but here it is 🙂

December 2, 2006. Changes/Fixes

* Change: Added option to turn off auto sorting/arrangement of the floating webcam viewer windows.
* BugFix: Closing a room with any of the child windows open caused a crash -fixed
* Change:Active IM count now includes SuperIM sessions
* BugFix: Sometimes when joining a room members are shown as muted, but they were not � fixed
* BugFix: Floating video viewer windows were not returning to default view video image when a member stopped their webcam, this was only while in tool bar mode, – fixed
* Change:Double clicking push to talk button now locks mic on, single click unlocks mic.
* BugFix: cleaned up the floating video viewers for BASIC members.

November 29, 2006. Changes/Fixes

* Change: the ? (help) button in rooms now launches the 9.0 help page.
* Change: made the video tiles in SuperIM clickable to show video options.
* Change: added Paltalk Tour button on the welcome tab.
* BugFix: when publishing with video strip hidden, then showing the video strip and clicking stop publish caused a crash – fixed
* Change: when a member is red dotted, we now disable the push to talk button.
* Change: added preference options for superIM video viewing, auto view all – just pals – no one.
* Change: double clicking the push to talk button now locks mic, per user feedback.
* Change: added an option to remove members from the SuperIIM session.
* BugFix: sometimes in superIM members could not talk on mic – fixed.
* BugFix: added ability to drag default pals catg.
* Change: Pal category’s (buddy groups) will be reset on installing this Beta build as we had to make changes to how they are saved, please re-create the groups this will not happen again.

* Change: Added options to close and view video in the dropdown menu on webcam tiles in superIM.
* BugFix: Floating video windows in chat rooms were not defaulting to “view video” image when members stopped publishing video – fixed.
* Change: Added tool tips to tool bar buttons in chat rooms.
* BugFix: Some members crashed when viewing a webcam in superIM – fixed.
* BugFix: Clicking “view larger video” in SuperIM caused client to crash for some members – fixed.
* Change: Added new join welcome room button on welcome tab.
* Change: Added new start chatting button on welcome tab.
* Change: SuperIM’s can now hold 10 members (was 5).
* BugFix: When in a chat room or audio superIM, if you receive another audio superIM request it muted your current room even if you haven’t accepted the request – fixed we will not mute the current room when a audio enabled superIM request is received.
* Change: Enabled drag and drop and files over the IM window to start a file transfer.
* Change: Added a new red SuperIM icon for task bar.
* BugFix: Blue (plus) nicknames could not always view 6 webcams – fixed.
* BugFix: Sometimes when joining a chat room, the room would not show but other members see your nickname in the room – fixed.
* BugFix: Double clicking a nickname while @admin in a chat room now red dots that member.
* Change: Floating video windows: we now keep the current size box highlighted in the re-size options.
* Change: Added new inter-op buttons on pals tab.
* Change: Inter-op buttons now light up when logged into that service.
* Change: Added “Select All” option for blast IM.
* Bugfix: Members were getting logged off the system when sending blast IM’s and Invite to multiple members – Fixed.
* BugFix: SuperIM silhouette tile now shows muted state until member accepts the add audio request.
* BugFix: The pull down list to select a member’s video to view was too narrow in the smallest film strip size -fixed, we made this wider.
* Change: Swapped position of Add Audio and invite buttons in IM.

November 08, 2006. Changes/Fixes

* Change: Optimized Video quality and to make the clarity and color of the video image clearer (note you will only see this if you are viewing someone’s video that is publishing using build 161)
* Change: Added Games Mode button in IM windows, clicking this switches the IM window into ‘Games Mode’ to enable members to play games while using video and hands free sound.
* Change: As new members Join a superIM session we now re-size the video strip so you can see the video of new members that join.
* Change: Added new Desktop and system to Paltalk logo Icon.
* Change: Added new Invite button graphic in chat rooms and IM windows.
* Change: When the mic is in the “Locked mic” state, clicking the transmitting button will unlock the mic.
* Bug Fix: Black strip removed from top of Paltalk Plus members floating video viewers.
* Bug Fix: Floating video viewer windows now return back to default “view video” image when the viewed member stops publishing.
* Change: Self view (start publish window) how highlights green when you are transmitting on mic.
* Bug Fix: Disabled Voice activated mode in one channel chat rooms.
* Change: If you are viewing a member in a chat room and they transmit on mic their cam image will show a green border.
* Bug Fix: Private rooms no longer default into Voice activated mode.
* Bug Fix: Raise hand button was saying in active state even after hand was lowered by activating the mic.
* Bug Fix: When receiving a IM from someone not on your pals list, clicking “OK” to the msg dialog asking it you wanted to accept the msg still sends the IM to the task bar and shows the slider msg. – fixed to not show the slider msg once accepted via the msg dialog.
* Bug Fix: When on “locked Mic” mode pressing the CTRL key stopped you transmitting but the button still showed transmitting state – fixed to now de-key mic with CTRL key when in locked mic mode.
