Well so I trying to Use Paltalk on Ubuntu via Wine and damn this shit dont seem to work right, I am thinking is cause the new paltalk 9.6 or 9.7 is just not connecting. This is the steps I took.
First of all Wine is mad easy to install on Ubuntu check this page
next I install Paltalk like this
Installing Windows Applications Using WineTo install Windows applications using Wine, follow these instructions:
1. Download the Windows application from any source (e.g. download.com). Download the .EXE (executable).
2. Place it in a convenient directory (e.g. the desktop, or home folder).
3. Open the terminal, and cd into the directory where the .EXE is located.
4.Type wine the-name-of-the-application.extension (e.g. wine realplayer.exe).This will start the .EXE using Wine. If it is an installer, it should then run as it would in Windows. If the application asks for a directory to install the application to, select put it under C:Program Files.
The info comes from here
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wine
And to run paltalk is just liek windows the icon is on the desktop, but the damn thing connects fine but you cant go to the rooms 🙁 -
