I would suggest that you pick one of your old projects (find the least complex) and re-write it completely from scratch in VB 2008.

I’ve got even better idea for you. Bin VB start coding C++.
April 25, 2008 at 2:15 am #187560AdminAdministratorUmm, sound like a good idea chike 8) , and would the end program be any different if i code it on vs 2008 to the old vs 6 ❓
April 25, 2008 at 9:44 am #187559ChikeMemberIf you use .net framework than it’s completely different, if you are using MFC or just native win32 programing than there should be only minor differences or no difference at all.
The advantage of C++ is if you ever going to look for a job in the software market. most likely it would require knowledge in C++, I’ve never seen no one looking for VB programers.
Java programing and .net are not that different, so if you have the base of C++ it’s easy to learn to work with those.April 20, 2010 at 3:22 am #187558AdminAdministratorYo Auto, do you have the source code for the PalRoomSelector cause the link in the forums is mess up, and nother thing should the code work for paltalk 9.9 cause I am having issues with it 😕
